Schooled
I just realized I haven't blogged about my being back to school. Not that I left, but I'm back for Fall, and I wish I were taking more courses this time around. But I am only receiving a quarter of the financial aid I had my last two semesters? Summer I was torture, total overload, I failed my Photo History course, what the fuck? English 102 owned my life for that one month, but I'm not complaining, I miss Alex (my English instructor), he is one of the few amazing people I have met yet, sigh warms my little heart. Anyhow, I am now taking Math 142, which is insanely easy, easier than Math 121, weird but not really that weird, math is funky that way. I cannot believe I wasted about a year and half avoiding math, what the hell, I would be far beyond my goal of Math 170, oh well. My instructor is really laid back, she loves Jesus, but that is all right by me, kind of. I am also taking Astronomy II, hooray! I don't know why I previously felt reluctant to indulge in Science courses, I suppose I hadn't felt on par with the Science crowd, if said crowd exists? I was a little shocked to discover that my instructor is a young attractive female, it's encouraging. I love Astronomy, it is crazy-fascinating! Just the other night I looked at the moon through a telescope, thanks to my friend Mike, it was amazing! I feel like the more I know, the more freaked out I get but I try not to think about it too much, it's all in good fun.

Yeah, I miss Alex too. He was the best. What the hell?? MATH 142 was easy?!??! Arrrgh. I guess we're different mathematically. ahha.
ReplyDeleteSo far it's so easy that I'm jumping into next weeks work. I had a bit of practice with this type of math in my Pharmacy course. I've been wanting to take another one of Alex's classes for the hell of it, good company.
ReplyDeleteHe is. I love how the final paper was all about going green and the enviroment. LOVED IT!
